If you have experienced trauma, deep loss, or soul wound:
I offer therapy options that have been shown to be effective in treating PTSD and supporting recovery from trauma. If you decide to commit to trauma-focused work (such as Cognitive Processing Therapy), these evidence-based therapies typically require 12 to 15 weekly sessions. Subsequent sessions will be scheduled as mutually agreed.
If you are experiencing unresolved grief, depression, emotional numbing, or a loss of core meaning in life, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy offers an opportunity to reconnect with the vitality of life, including acceptance of the suffering that must also be a part of it.
Other concerns, such as anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and gender-related issues, can also be effectively helped with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
Don't hesitate to contact me with questions about any of these options.
Piece by piece shredding the guilt
Breath by breath exhaling the fear
Step by step leaving behind what I cannot answer
Moment by moment learning to embrace the journey of this life.

Here is how one client described her experience:
We all have beliefs and stories inside about how the world works, about what is true for us. At times, these stories serve us, and at other times they can keep us stuck in places that no longer serve. In order to move out of those old stories I needed someone to help me see things differently -- to help me identify the old story, explore and understand its limits, push out and test why I hold on to that old story. And then, when I have worked through it, to help me create a new declaration that is freeing... The process can be difficult and scary. It is also exhilarating and full of life. As we progress through our lives, we have the choice to actively participate in the process of moving up the spiral of life. That is part of the pleasure of being here.
